Complete refurbishment and restoration of a Grade II listed Victorian hotel.
The Challenge
Working within a protected historic building required meticulous care to preserve original features while upgrading all services to modern luxury standards. The discovery of unforeseen structural issues added complexity.
Our Solution
Our specialist heritage team worked closely with English Heritage. We employed traditional craftsmanship alongside modern techniques, restoring ornate plasterwork and joinery while installing a completely new M&E system. 3D laser scanning was used to model the existing structure and plan interventions precisely.
