The Challenge
The project involved the restoration of several listed warehouse buildings and the construction of new buildings on a site with complex ground conditions and archaeological significance.
Our Solution
A phased approach was taken, starting with the careful restoration of the heritage buildings. Modern structures were designed with lightweight frames and piled foundations to suit the ground conditions, creating a dynamic contrast between old and new.
